God Answered My Prayer!

God allowed me to be with my dad the day he departed this earth on April 23, 2020. He passed from cancer. I arrived on his birthday, after he told me several times not to come. I struggled with the decision of going because he was adamant about me not coming because of the Coronavirus. I always honored and respected what my dad asked of me. However, this one I just could not honor. I had no peace and I wanted to see my dad so bad. I prayed fervently asking God for guidance on what to do. I never really heard from God but my heart would not let me stay away. So I decided to go. When I got there, and my dad saw me, he smiled so big. He said to me " My baby came for my birthday" I knew at that exact moment, this was my sign from God that I did the right thing. Also, there were other things that needed to be done for my dad and had I not come, they would not have gotten done for him. I was able to spend a couple of days with my dad before he actually passed. I sang to him, I prayed with him, and I told him how very much I loved him. I said dad, go get your rest, Ashley and I will be ok. I watched my dad suffering and in pain and it broke my heart. I asked God to release my dad from this pain and misery and the very next day, God did just that. My dad went so peacefully and I was with him right by his side, holding him when he took his last breath. I never knew I would have the strength to do such a thing, but with God all things are possible!
