Prayer!

A prayer by Sheri Shepherd - Please Lead the Way

Lord, I want you to be my guide. I need your divine direction. Yet, so many times I wandered off the narrow road you paved for me with your life. Somehow I can feel that my way is better than your will for me, that my fun is more important to me than my faith. I forget that you, my father, know what's best for me. So when I wander away from you, let me hear your Holy Spirit whisper, "Follow Me", I am the Way. Let me know your direction for my life. I'm ready to let you lead me, I'm ready to walk with you through your Word one step at a time. I want to stay on the road that leads me to you every day, every minute, until I'm with you on the other side of eternity. In Jesus Name amen.
